Fatal Corona Car Wreck Kills Elderly Passenger
67-year-old Arizona resident Percida Abando was killed in a serious car wreck that occurred on November 26, 2011, around 1:05 a.m. at northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) and eastbound Highway 91 (SR-91) in Corona. According to Riverside County coroner’s office, Abando was a passenger in a vehicle that hit a stalled vehicle.
Abando suffered life-threatening injuries and was immediately transported to Riverside Community Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. From the present information, it is unclear what caused this major car accident that claimed one life. Was the driver speeding? If it is found that the car driver was driving negligently or recklessly, then he might be held liable for the Abando’s death.
Meanwhile, Abando’s family members can seek counsel from an experienced Riverside County car accident lawyer who would educate them about their legal rights and options. This lawyer may also help victim’s family obtain compensation to cover funeral and burial costs, loss of love, care and compassion and other accident-related damages.
Our personal injury law office sends sincere condolences to the Abando’s family and friends.
