Early morning collision on Valley Center Road
ESCONDIDO, CA – A single-car accident blocked traffic on Valley Center Road Wednesday, reports California Highway Patrol.
The driver of an SUV lost control and collided with a fence on the side of the road around 2:54 a.m. Local fire officials were called to the scene to help clear the collision.
A tow truck was called to the area. The driver’s family asked to take the SUV but still allowed the tow truck to remove the vehicle from the area.
The driver was not transported to the hospital but was reported to have minimal injuries. Officers are investigating what caused the SUV to lose control. Valley Center Road was reopened for traffic after the tow truck removed the vehicle.
