Driver trapped in vehicle after solo crash in College West area
SAN DIEGO, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported a solo-crash this morning in San Diego near the College West area. According to the accident report, the collision occurred on Interstate 8 near Waring Road at around 11:45 a.m.
A motorist was traveling eastbound on Interstate 8 when they crashed their silver Toyota into the center divide for unknown reasons. Emergency responders had to rescue the driver from the vehicle.
The driver did not have any immediate injuries. However, medics transported the patient to a hospital as a precautionary measure.
