Driver dies in single-vehicle crash southwest of Temecula
TEMECULA, CA – A motorist died in a single-vehicle crash southwest of Temecula Tuesday afternoon, according to 10 News.
The driver of an SUV swerved off Pala Temecula Road around 4:45 p.m. The vehicle impacted a tree and caught fire. Officials were called to the scene and found the driver had died from their injuries.
The road remained blocked as officers investigated the source of the crash. It is unknown what caused the driver to veer off the roadway.
Officials have not released the name of the victim and will continue to investigate the cause of the collision. This story will be updated if more information becomes available.
