Single vehicle crashes into light pole on Paradise Mountain Road

ESCONDIDO, CA – A black SUV was traveling along Paradise Mountain Road when it struck a light pole, reports the California Highway Patrol.

A black SUV hit the light pole around 7:49 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the area to discover the driver had been driving under the influence and driving recklessly before he collided with the pole.

The driver was seen outside the vehicle before he returned to the collision. An ambulance was dispatched to the area and took the driver to the hospital with unknown injuries.

CHP requested the San Diego Power Company to take a look at the power pole. A safety check must be done in the event of a collision with any power pole.

Officers are investigating what circumstances led to the collision. As this is a recent event, more information is being gathered by officers and will be reported when it is made available.

Three-vehicle traffic collision reported on SR-74

TEMECULA, CA – A three-car collision was reported on the SR-74 near Greenwald Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The involved a white BMW, an SUV, and an unidentified third vehicle. Officers were called to the scene and found one vehicle had rolled on its side.

The fire department was called in to assist with the collision, as was a tow truck. Medical attention does not appear to have been required.

Officials at the scene are investigating whether alcohol and drugs were a factor in the collision.

Traffic News: Traffic collision on the I-5

OCEANSIDE, CA – A black Ford truck rear-ended an RV on the I-5 heading south near Scales south around 6:39 p.m.

The driver told the California Highway Patrol that his camper door opened on the freeway as a result of the collision. He pulled over to the side of the road, as did the Ford.

There are no confirmed reports of injuries from either vehicle, but an ambulance and tow truck were both requested.

There has been no indication that traffic in the area has slowed, but there are reports of debris on the roadway.

Vallejo, CA- 6 People Injured After A Sedan Crashed Through A Vallejo Dollar Store

6 people were injured after a Sedan crashed through a Vallejo Dollar Store in Vallejo, CA on Thursday afternoon, November 21, 2019. The vehicle reportedly crashed through the front window, and slammed into shelves inside the store, before it came to rest deep inside the store’s building. The female driver of the vehicle that crashed through the store told paramedics she blacked out as she was driving her vehicle in the parking lot, and was able to regain her consciousness after the impact. The Vallejo Dollar Store where the Sedan crashed through was located at 3475 Sonoma Boulevard.
