Damaged vehicle causes major road hazard on I-805
SAN DIEGO, CA – The California Highway Patrol is warning motorists of a damaged vehicle on northbound Interstate 805 near the University Avenue off-ramp. According to the report, a grey SUV is pulled on to the lefthand side of the road and is blocking lane #2 of the the off-ramp. The driver of the vehicle told police that the vehicle had overheated around 10:07 a.m. and wouldn’t drive any further.
Police caution drivers in the area to be aware as they come around the curve that a vehicle is parked there. Drivers should proceed with caution in order to avoid an accident. The CHP is currently on the way to handle the situation, and our team will post an update if any accidents are caused by the stopped vehicle.
