Collision blocks lane along I-8
SAN DIEGO, CA – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol were forced to shut down one lane along I-8 following an early morning collision Thursday.
According to Caltrans, the collision occurred at about 6:30 a.m. along the westbound lanes of I-8 near State Route 79.

Authorities have not released any information with regard to the cause of the crash or if any injuries were sustained as a result. However, motorists have been advised to proceed with caution when traveling on this portion of I-8 as delays are likely.
