Fallbrook, CA- 3 People Killed And 18 Others Injured In A Bus Rollover Crash

3 people were killed and 18 others were injured in a bus rollover crash close to Fallbrook, CA on Saturday morning, February 22, 2020. A charter bus reportedly swerved on the rain-slicked Interstate 15, and rolled down an embankment. A 5 year old child was critically injured in the accident with a head injury. 17 other people were also injured. A total of 21 people were the occupants of the said bus. 17 passengers were thrown out of the bus during the accident. One of the people killed in the accident was trapped under the vehicle after it landed on its roof. The accident happened on southbound Interstate 15, close to State Route 76. 17 passengers sustained injuries ranging from non-life to life-threatening. 3 people killed in the accident were all women. Majority of the passengers of the bus involved in the accident appeared to had not been wearing seatbelts at the time the accident happened. The driver of the bus sustained minor injuries, and was not taken to a hospital for treatment.

4 people were injured after a van hit a school bus in Lake Elsinore, CA on Friday morning, December 13, 2019. A Lake Elsinore Unified School District school bus, carrying 10 children, was heading into the intersection going south on Grand Avenue at the time. The driver of the van and a 5-year old girl passenger of the van sustained major injuries. A 2-year old boy and a 10-year old girl, the other passengers of the van, also sustained minor injuries.

A woman was killed and another person was injured in a bus crash in the downtown area of Santa Barbara, CA on Wednesday afternoon, October 9, 2019. An eastbound Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District bus veered off West Figueroa Street onto the sidewalk, and into a bus bench. The crash killed a 67-year old woman from Santa Barbara.The accident also critically injured a 75-year old woman. The crash took place at approximately 2:20 pm, east of Chapala Street, close to the MTD transit center. Both 2 women were sitting on the bus bench, waiting for a bus, at the time of the crash. The 75-year old woman sustained injuries to both of her legs. Other people who gathered at the bus stop were able to escape being injured from the crash. 2 people who were occupants of the bus involved in the crash were also injured. Several other people involved in the crash refused medical treatment. Among the suspected possible causes of the crash were driver error and mechanical failure.

Fresno, CA- Multiple People Hospitalized After A 3-Vehicle Crash

Multiple people were hospitalized after a 3-vehicle crash in Fresno, CA on Wednesday evening, October 16, 2019. The driver of a Lexus reportedly rear-ended a church van, then swerved into oncoming traffic. The Lexus was travelling west on McKinley Avenue, close to Brawley Avenue, when it struck the church van, and then, hit a Honda in the eastbound lane, head-on a few minutes after 9 pm. The 3 occupants of the Honda and the 2 occupants of the Lexus were all injured in the crash. Only 1 occupant of the church van was injured in the accident. That person in the church van who was injured only sustained a minor injury from the crash. Investigators believed that speed was a factor in the crash.

Santa Rosa, CA- Woman Driver Injured In A 2-Vehicle Crash

A woman driver was injured in a 2-vehicle crash in southwest Santa Rosa, CA early Tuesday morning, October 15, 2019. The woman driver reportedly made a left turn in front of an oncoming vehicle, thus, caused the crash. At approximately 7:45 am, the said woman driver began making a left turn from Price Avenue onto northbound South Wright Road. The woman driver then pulled in front of a 1970 Volkswagen bus. The man driver of the bus was not able to stop in time before the crash happened. Thus, the bus broadsided the woman’s 2008 Chevrolet Aveo. The driver of the bus was not injured. The woman driver sustained major injuries. However, her injuries did not appear to had been life threatening. The woman driver sustained head head trauma and cuts. The accident happened close to Wright Charter School.
