Simi Valley, CA- 5 People Injured In A Charter Bus Crash

5 people were injured in a charter bus crash in Simi Valley, CA on Tuesday morning, September 3, 2019. The crash reportedly happened just before 9 am on the westbound side of the highway east of Madera Drive. A bus and 3 other vehicles were involved in the crash. The 5 people injured, though, only sustained minor injuries. 3 people injured were occupants of the bus. 2 other people injured were occupants of the other vehicles. Other people injured in the accident declined to receive medical treatments. The bus reportedly crashed into the other 3 vehicles. The accident happened close to First Street.

Willowbrook, CA- 2 Persons Killed And Another Injured After Metro Bus Crashed Into Vehicles And Crowded Taco Stand

1 person is dead and another seriously injured after a Metro bus crashed into multiple cars and a crowded taco stand in Willowbrook, CA early Sunday, September 1, 2019. A number of other people sustained minor injuries from the accident, as well. About 2 am, a Metro bus hit a Honda SUV for unknown reasons close to Alameda Street and 131st street. Afterwards, the bus hit several parked vehicles within the premises before hitting a taco stand surrounded by many people. Including the bus, the accident involved a total of 5 vehicles. The 10 passengers in the bus, though, were all not injured. 10 people on the curb were injured in the accident. 2 out of these 10 people injured sustained serious injuries. One of these 2 people seriously injured died. The man killed in the crash was reportedly trapped underneath a van.

San Jose- 2 People Injured After Car Crashed Into A VTA Bus

2 people were injured after a car crashed into a Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority bus and then burst into flames in East San Jose on Monday afternoon, August 12, 2019. The crash reportedly happened on King Road And Cunningham Avenue at 1:48 pm. The bus operator and the driver of the car involved in the crash were the people injured in the accident. The bus operator and the driver of the car were treated at the crash site and were not taken to the hospital for treatments.

San Diego- 2 People Injured After Buses Crashed With A U-Haul Truck

2 people were injured after 2 school buses and a U-Haul truck were involved in a chain-reaction crash on Thursday, August 1, 2019, in the Pauma Valley area, northeast of Escondido and Valley Center in southern California. The 2 people injured in the crash were 1 adult and 1 child. The 2 people reportedly sustained moderate to major injuries. 10 other kids were able to obtain medical treatment at the accident site for being overheated but were not admitted to hospitals. One of the buses rear ended the U-Haul truck in the Palomar Mountain area. This crash caused a chain reaction crash also between the 2 buses.

Near Miss Injures Multiple San Diego Students on School Bus

San Diego School Bus AccidentA near collision has landed 10 students in the hospital with a variety of head and neck injuries. As reported by NBC 7, the close call happened near the 14800 block of Olde Highway 80 just east of Lake Jennings Parkway.

A Rios Canyon Elementary School bus carrying almost 50 students was forced to make a hard stop as a car cut across its path. Fortunately, the bus driver was able to make the stop and avoid a serious school bus accident. But, the stop sent many children flying out of the seats. Grieving Mother Sues FedEx for More than $100 Million after Fiery California Bus Crash

The mother of a honors high school student recently filed a $100 million lawsuit against FedEx after her 17-year-old daughter was killed in a flaming bus crash in northern California, alleging that the delivery company’s big rigs have a tendency to catch on fire.

According to a report by San Diego Union-Tribune, the FedEx big rig allegedly veered across the highway median into opposing traffic and collided with the tour bus, which was carrying 44 students and their chaperones to Humboldt State University for a preview weekend visit. Five high school students, three adult chaperones, and both drivers were killed in the accident. Read the rest »

Tour Bus Crashes, Overturns in Yucaipa: 8 Dead, 38 Injured

A devastating tour bus crash in Yucaipa, California has taken the lives of at least eight people and injured 38 on Sunday, February 3, 2013 around 6:30 p.m., according to CBS News. The bus lost control while traveling down a mountain road in Southern California, striking a car, rolling over and then sliding on its side into a pick-up truck.

Several passengers were ejected and emergency crews had to free others who were trapped in the bus. The dozens injured were taken to hospitals in the area, one of them in critical condition. Read the rest »

Nickelodeon Star Miranda Cosgrove Injured in Tour Bus Accident

Cosgrove Bus Accident“iCarly” star Miranda Cosgrove suffered a broken ankle in a truck accident when her tour bus crashed into an overturned tractor-trailer on I-70 in Illinois‚ just outside of Vandalia on the morning of August 11‚ 2011.

According to local reports‚ the bus hit a part of the overturned semi that was blocking one of the lanes. According to the 18-year old Nickelodeon star‚ it was pitch black outside when her tour bus‚ en route to Kansas‚ collided with the truck. Rather than swerving and potentially overturning the bus‚ the bus driver decided to hit the brakes and face the semi head on. Miranda says this may have saved her life. Read the rest »

SUV Crashes into School Bus on I-805

Two people suffered critical injuries in a San Diego bus accident that occurred on May 26‚ 2011‚ around 6:10 a.m. at Murray Ridge Road inSerra Mesa Bus  Serra Mesa. According to the CHP‚ light-colored Mercedes SUV collided with the rear side of a school bus on southbound Interstate 805 (I-805).

Two passengers in the SUV were hurt and immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately there were no children in the bus when the accident occurred. From the available information‚ it is unclear what made the SUV driver rear end the bus. Read the rest »

School Bus Driver Crashes Into San Diego Home

An unidentified 63-year-old driver crashed a school bus outside a Rancho Penasquitos elementary school on Tuesday‚ May 10‚ 2011‚ around 1:30 p.m. According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department‚ the bus driver lost control of the vehicle collided with several cars‚ trees and then drove into a home after crossing Russet Leaf Lane.

San Diego Fire-Rescue Department spokesman Maurice Luque said that the Poway Unified School District vehicle veered onto a nearby embankment‚ struck two small trees‚ hit a parked car with a woman and her young daughter in it in front of Deer Canyon Elementary School and then crashed into the closed garage of an unoccupied home.
