Border Patrol agent dies after crash off SR-92 near Campo

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A Border Patrol agent died Friday morning after a single-vehicle collision off California Highway 94 near Campo, according to ABC 10 News.

Authorities did not disclosed the exact location of the crash but said that it occurred at around 5:30 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to the event, but officials discovered the agent unresponsive after a crash involving an agency vehicle.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No other vehicles appeared to have been involved, and no other injuries were reported.
