The 11-year old boy reportedly died after he fell overboard from a boat while on a trip out in the water with his father and older brother. The 11-year old boy’s older brother was also ejected into the water, together with his younger sibling. The brothers were all hit by the boat after they fell overboard, into the water. The older brother sustained leg lacerations from the boating accident. The father of the 2 sons was operating the vessel at the time of the accident.

Discovery Bay, CA- Woman Killed And Several People Injured In A 2-Boat Collision

A woman was killed and several other people injured in a 2 boat collision in Discovery Bay, CA on Saturday evening, September 14, 2019. The accident happened east of the Contra Costa-San Joaquin county line. The 2 boats reportedly collided into one another past 7 pm close to Ski Beach, on the Middle River, 4 miles east of Discovery Bay. 5 people involved in the accident were injured. The accident was initially believed to had been a hit-and-run accident. The second boat left the scene before the sheriff’s deputies arrived. That boat, though, reportedly made contact with the sheriff’s office soon after to report injuries from the incident.

34 people were presume dead after a California dive boat caught fire in Santa Cruz, CA early Monday morning, September 2, 2019. The accident reportedly happened just before 4 am. Lake Havasu, CA- 17-Year Old Teen Found Dead 2 Days After Boating Accident

A 17-year old teen from Redondo Beach was found dead on August 23, 2019, Friday in Lake Havasu, CA 2 days after a boating accident. The victim was identified as Adam Gomez. Rescuers reportedly found Gomez dead south of Thompson Bay in about 23 feet of water after having been missing since Wednesday, August 21, 2019. According to deputies, as far as they were aware, Gomez Gomez had left from a boat while it was moving. The boat and its propellor reportedly hit Gomez, after such, Gomez disappeared below the water’s surface. Gomez failed to resurface thereafter.

A father and daughter were found dead aboard on the houseboat on the Delta. The pair were believed to have died due to accidental carbon monoxide poisoning on Friday, July 5, 2019. Stanislaus County, CA- Teens Jet Skiing Injured In Crash With A Boat On The Modesto Reservoir

2 teenage girls were injured in a collision on the Modesto Reservoir while they were jet skiing on Saturday, June 22, 2019. One of the teens who were injured was reportedly in critical condition. About 5 pm, the 2 teens were riding a jet ski in the reservoir. The jet ski they were riding crashed with a motor boat, injuring both the teen girls. The girls were ages 14 and 15. The 15-year old girl was reported to be in critical condition after she was taken to the hospital. The 14-year old girl suffered broken bones, but should recover. The driver of the boat was arrested under the suspicion of being under the influence while boating. It is not known as to whether or not the teen girls injured in the accident and the boater knew each other.

Livermore, CA- Boater Jockey Found Dead After Drowning In Lake Del Valle

A jockey from San Francisco appeared to have drowned on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in Lake Del Valle in Livermore, CA. The body of the boater jockey was reportedly recovered from the botton of Lake Del Valle near Livermore late Wednesday morning, June 12, 2019. The boater was identified as Shawn Spikes, 23. Spikes was a regular rider in Golden Gate Fields and County Fair Circuit. According to East Bay Regional Parks police, Spikes was one of the people who rented a boat for a cruise along Lake Del Valle on Tuesday afternoon, June 11, 2019. According to investigators. Spikes appeared to have went overboard early Tuesday evening. Search for Spikes during the entire evening on Tuesday failed to have produced signs of the boater. However, on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, Spikes’ body was found in 65 feet of water-away from the boat dock. Spikes reportedly did not know how to swim. There were no people who saw Spikes went underwater. He was also not wearing a life jacket during the time that he drowned.
