Date: March 21‚ 2010
Type: One-Vehicle Accident
Location: Near Kenwood Avenue‚ San Bernardino‚ CA
Outcome: Woman killed‚ other passengers injured
A 46-year old San Bernardino woman was killed when the jeep she was a passenger in careened into the center divider and flipped several times before landing on its roof. The cause behind this fatal auto accident was a blown tire. The deceased‚ Debra Ann Davis‚ died on the spot. The other passengers were taken to area hospitals.
Our condolences go out to Ms. Davis’ friends and family and to the friends and family of those injured in this rollover auto accident.
If our California personal injury law firm were to advise Ms. Davis’ family and those people injured following this fatal accident we would recommend that her vehicle be inspected by a trained vehicle inspector. Her family may have a product liability claim against the manufacturer and distributor of the blown tire and the vehicle itself. First‚ the tire was not designed or manufactured properly. Second‚ the roof support system of the vehicle may not have been safe. Manufacturers need to assume that rollover accidents occur and provide additional reinforcement for the roof structure.
