Bicyclist breaks leg, ribs after motorcyclist crashes into him in Pacific Beach
SAN DIEGO, CA – A motorcyclist collided with a man riding his bike with a group of other bicyclists, causing mild injury to himself and injuring the cyclist in an accident in the Pacific Beach neighborhood yesterday afternoon.
According to The Times of San Diego, the accident happened in the 4200 block of Ingraham St, near the 1500 block of Reed Ave, just before 3:15 p.m. when a 23-year-old operator of a 2017 Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle went through the intersection. The motorcyclist then collided with a 49-year-old man riding a bike with a group riding through the intersection.
The motorcyclist suffered mild injuries, while the other rider sustained more serious injuries, including broken ribs and a broken leg.
The accident remains under investigation by the San Diego Police Department at this time.
