Antioch, CA- Suspect Of Car Theft Killed After Police Chase Ended In Deadly Crash
A man who was a suspect of stealing a car was killed after a police chase ended in a deadly crash in Antioch, CA early Thursday morning, July 18, 2019. The car that the suspect was driving reportedly crashed into a tree while he was being chased by police. Around 1 am, police found the vehicle that the suspect was accused of stealing on Somersville Road. As the police, tried to stop the vehicle, the suspect fled away from the officers east on Buchanan Road. On the 1100 block of Buchanan Road, the suspect crossed the raised center divider and struck a tree on north side of the road. The suspect was declared dead at the crash site.
