Angeles National Forest, CA- 21-Year Old Man Killed After Car Went Off The Side Of A Mountain Road
A 21-year old man from Lancaster was killed when the vehicle that he was driving went off the side of a mountain road in Angeles National Forest, CA on Friday, July 26, 2019. The driver was identified as Christopher Hernandez, Jr. He reportedly died at the crash site. Hernandez was reportedly driving his vehicle northbound on Angeles Forest Highway, close to Angeles Crest Highway at around 4:10 pm. Hernandez lost control of his vehicle at at a curve in the road, thus, causing him to drive his car off the side of a mountain road. Hernandez’s vehicle reportedly left the road and went across a gorge before crashing into a mountainside. Drugs and alcohol were not suspected to had been factors that caused the crash.
