Ambulance called for elderly woman after Escondido crash

SAN DIEGO – An elderly woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident in a residential area of Escondido on Thursday morning, according to CHP.

The accident happened on Bear Valley Parkway near the intersection with Old Spanish Trail at about 10:25 a.m.

An ambulance was called for an elderly woman that was involved in the accident.

All lanes were blocked on Bear Valley Parkway by the accident and officials detoured the traffic in both directions.
