All lanes blocked following traffic collision on SR-78

RAMONA, CA – Authorities were forced to block all lanes along State Route 78 following a Thursday evening crash, Caltrans reports.

The accident occurred along the highway between 3rd Street and Magnolia Avenue at about 7:09 p.m.

SR-78 closed between 3rd St and Magnolia Ave in Ramona due to a traffic collision.

No information with regard to the cause of the crash or if any injuries were sustained as a result has been released at this time. However, commuters faced delays for nearly three hours while the incident was investigated and cleared from the roadway.
