25-year-old pedestrian killed in Oceanside accident
SAN DIEGO, CA – A 25-year-old man was struck by a vehicle and killed on Sunday night. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the man was crossing the intersection of State Route 76 and College Boulevard at around 10:35 p.m. when an eastbound-traveling vehicle hit him. Witnesses report that the man was crossing the street against the light.
Oceanside Police and paramedics arrived on the scene and attempted to save the man’s life. He was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver stopped and cooperated with police. Police say that they do not believe any drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident.
