20-year-old’s life-threatened in San Ysidro fiery crash
SAN DIEGO, CA – A man was severely injured after crashing with several parked cars along Beyer Boulevard in the San Ysidro area on Monday night.
According to the Times of San Diego, the 27-year-old was speeding eastbound in his 2012 Chevrolet Camaro when he crashed near Smyth Avenue at about 8:45 p.m. He slammed his Camaro into a Jeep and then four other cars, all parked and unoccupied. The Jeep and Camaro both caught fire.
Emergency crews pulled the driver from the front seat of the burning car and transported him to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol is believed to have factored in the crash.
