2 hospitalized, cat revived, multiple people displaced after El Cajon fire

EL CAJON, CA – Two victims were injured, a cat was revived, and multiple people were displaced as a result of an apartment fire in El Cajon last night, according to FOX 5 San Diego.

The fire broke out at 708 N Mollison Avenue at the Regency Apartments complex at around 9:45 p.m. and damaged at least six apartment units.

One person was sent to the hospital with minor burn injuries and another for the treatment of smoke inhalation injuries.

Multiple people were displaced as a result of the fire.

Firefighters went into the blaze to rescue multiple cats that were trapped within the fire. One of those cats was revived with the use of oxygen.

The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
