Animal on State Route 76 causes road hazard

SAN DIEGO, CA – The California Highway Patrol warns motorists on State Route 76 near Rancho Del Oro to be cautious and drive slow this morning. Police received reports at around 10:46 that a live animal was on the highway, darting between the lanes.

CHP is on the way to remedy the situation now, but we caution all drivers in the area to be careful. Drivers going too fast to switch lanes or halt their vehicles can end up in serious accidents.
