Awful Television Attorney Commercials: Bruce J. Flint Produces a CGI Rap Video Borrowing from Apple's 1984 Macintosh Commercial
I really do not know what to make of this personal injury lawyer commercial. Bruce J. Flint is a Dallas and Fort Worth attorney who represents people injured in car accidents. That much I can gather from the commercial. However, his ad then goes on to put him and his client in a computer generated rap concert with television screens that reminds me of Apple's 1984 Macintosh commercial with Big Brother. What I can't tell is whether this commercial is racist or not. Some of the animation is borderline and plays on some pretty bad stereotypes. Giving Mr. Flint the benefit of the doubt, I'll just call the commercial silly and not hurtful or racist. But it does make me shake my head.
