Negligence of a Government Entity
My husband and I were at the airport getting ready to fly home for the holidays when we got a call from our neighbor, telling us that our home was flooded. We rushed back to our home to deal with the flood and did as much as we could to save our belongings. Unfortunately, a lot of our things and furniture were destroyed. We spent thousands of dollars in repairs and had to cancel the renters we had lined up.
A little over a month later, this happened AGAIN. The City hadn’t corrected the problem! Every time there is a storm, we were afraid of another flooding.
I took the case to Ross Jurewitz, who I knew because of his wife Lee. Because I knew him on a personal level, I felt very comfortable working with him. He assured us that our situation would be handled and the City of San Diego was at fault.
