San Diego Child Killed by Gangmember Due to Negligent Security at San Diego Apartment Complex--Confidential Six-Figure Settlement
Our client's child was shot and killed early in the morning on his way to school inside their Southeast San Diego apartment complex. The gangmember was found, convicted, and sentenced to life in prison without parole. The Jurewitz Law Group investigated and found that the murderer entered through a gate that was supposed to be locked and secured but whose lock had been destroyed for months. We also found that gangs frequently loitered in the complex and police were called weekly for some type of gang disturbance.
