Dangerous Condition at San Diego Apartment Complex Leads Crush Injury to Child's Foot--Partial Settlement of $337,500
Our client was a 13 year-old La Mesa girl who had her foot crushed when a retaining wall between La Mesa two apartment complexes fell on top of her. Her foot required several surgeries and skin grafts to replace skin on her foot that had been damaged. Our investigation indicated that the wall fell over due to several dangerous conditions on the property, including a palm tree located close to the wall which caused the wall to lean out. At mediation, the Jurewitz Law Group obtained a settlement of $337,500 from one of the apartment owners.
Awarded: $337,500
