Two bikers suffered serious injuries in a San Diego motorcycle accident that occurred on May 7‚ 2011‚ around 2:40 p.m. at a Mount Hope neighborhod park. According to the responding San Diego Police Sgt. Ray Battrick‚ one motorcyclist was attempting to park his 2006 Harley Davidson on Gateway Center Drive near Market Street‚ when he was hit by a speeding 2007 Yamaha motorcycle.
Both the bikers suffered serious injuries. Sgt. Battrick told reporters that the Yamaha biker was speeding when he hit the Harley motocyclist‚ who suffered minor bruises. The Yamaha motorcyclist‚ however‚ suffered a broken leg and major head injury.
