Two teenagers were injured Sunday evening at around 11:30pm after a high-speed crash in east San Diego County. The car accident occurred on Route 67 (SR-67) near Woodside Avenue.
There were five teens in the car. The driver of the vehicle was trying to pass a slower vehicle when he lost control of the car, skidded down the right shoulder and flipped upside down. One victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries and a second with moderate injuries.
Our prayers go out to the victims and their families. Because of the driver’s
recklessness, the injured passengers may be eligible to receive compensation to cover their medical bills and loss of earned wages. The victims’ families should file a personal injury lawsuit against the driver to get the money they need.
