A 28-year-old pregnant woman was struck by a taxi at 4800 Camino De La Plaza on January 3, 2012, around 7:30 p.m. in San Ysidro. According to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros, woman was crossing the street (not in a crosswalk) when a westbound taxi hit the in the roadway.
The woman was seven months pregnant and lost her unborn child in this tragic pedestrian crash. The pedestrian also suffered severe head trauma and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Traffic Division is investigating the incident. If the motorist is determined to have been at fault in this case, then he could be held responsible for this car accident that killed an unborn child and injured a pedestrian.

Sports Illustrstated Swimsuit Issue model Chrissy Teigen‚ girlfriend of musician John Legend‚ was involved in a serious car accident this afternoon while riding a cab on a freeway in New York City.
The model escaped unhurt but was extremely angry with the driver of the car that hit her. She tweeted a mini-rant before getting another cab.

Singer Gaven DeGraw was hit by a cab minutes after being attacked in NYC early Monday‚ August 8. The musician was transported by an ambulance to Bellevue Hospital and treated for severe injuries.
Law enforcement reports that a witness saw the cab strike the singer and called 911. Gavin’s rep says that the singer is suffering from multiple wounds‚ including a concussion‚ broken nose‚ black eyes‚ cuts‚ and bruises.
Police are still investigating the attack by 3 men at 3:00 AM Monday morning. They are trying to piece together how and why he was assaulted and then run over by a taxi.
DeGraw is currently on tour with Maroon 5 and Train‚ but has been replaced by Nikki Jean until he recovers. He recently spoke out on Twitter and told his fans that he doesn’t remember much but will make a full recovery. The musician plans to return to stage August 24.
