"Jackass" star Ryan Dunn and two unidentified passengers died in a fiery Pennsylvania DUI car accident earlier this morning. The crash happened around 3 a.m. at Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen township. Cops found his Porsche 911 GT3 engulfed in flames.
Hours before‚ the 34-year-old tweeted a picture of himself drinking with his friends at Barnaby’s of America in West Chester. Though is unclear how drunk Dunn may have been after leaving the bar‚ it is still a leading factor in the investigation.
The bar’s manager Jim O’Brien told reporters that the star had only "a couple Coronas," unlike what TMZ said. "Ryan wasn’t one of those wild guys you would see on ‘Jackass,’ O’Brien continued. "We would have stopped him if he had too many drinks."
Though‚ even "a couple Coronas" can add up. What happened to Dunn was a tragic event. However‚ it comes at no surprise that a celebrity‚ who made his career from performing dumb stunts and pranks‚ is a victim of a DUI crash.
Because the car was charred to a crisp‚ police are still unsure who was driving the vehicle‚ if the driver was speeding‚ or if there was another car involved. The victims’ families need to contact a DUI accident attorney immediately to conduct a full investigation into the cause of these wrongful deaths. An attorney will also work to get compensation for the victims’ medical expenses‚ funeral costs‚ lost wages‚ and loss of companionship.
