Six people were hurt in a two-car collision that took place on May 20 around 9 a.m. on Interstate 10 West (I-10W) in Redlands. According to Redlands Fire Department spokesman Carl Baker, this traffic collision left the passengers of one vehicle trapped inside and the other vehicle down the freeway embankment.
Firefighters freed the trapped passengers using hydraulic rescue tools. All six injured victims were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Circumstances of the crash are not fully disclosed at this time and injuries that were suffered have not been disclosed. Under California law, if it is found that negligent or reckless actions caused this accident, victims are legally entitled to seek compensation from the at-fault party.
