A mother and her child were severely injured in a San Diego pedestrian accident that happened on April 7‚ 2010 around 6p.m. The car vs. pedestrian accident occurred at the intersection of Fury Lane and Via Rancho in El Cajon‚ CA.
Reportedly‚ a vehicle crashed into the mother and her baby while they were in the 11500 block of Fury Lane. The driver of the vehicle claimed that he could not see as he was blinded by the sun’s rays. The victims were taken to Mercy Hospital. The 1-year old baby suffered from some serious cuts‚ but was breathing.
Our office wishes the mother and the child a quick recovery. It is so heart wrenching to hear of such a young child being involved in a serious accident. We hope that a proper investigation takes place and the cause of the accident comes out soon. The area in which the accident took place usually has commuters complaining of the problem of sun rays hitting straight into their eyes as they drive.
