An 18-year old teenage boy lost his life in a San Diego pedestrian accident when he was hit by two cars on El Camino Real near Cassia Avenue. This fatal accident took place on March 5‚ 2010 around 9:45 pm. Now‚ a local San Diego woman‚ Lisa Hutchinson‚ has come forward and contacted the Carlsbad Police Department reporting that she may be the hit and run driver who struck and killed the pedestrian.
The victim‚ Steven Anthony Kelley‚ was attempting to cross the street when he got struck by the first car. Though Officers stopped the second car’s driver near the scene‚ but the first vehicle that struck the teenager kept on going. Kelley died in an ambulance en-route to McClellan-Palomar Airport‚ where he was to be flown to a hospital. The next day‚ on March 6‚ 2010‚ a 44-year-old Lisa Hutchinson came forward as the driver of one of two cars that may have struck the youth. She says she may have unwittingly struck the teenaged boy but had left the scene after failing to spot any victim.
