A 50-year old man lost his life in a San Diego auto accident that took place on March 17‚ 2010. The accident happened at around 11:45 a.m.
The deceased was struck by an eastbound semi truck after he parked on Camino Maquiladora near Pacific Rim Court in Otay Mesa. He suffered head and leg injuries and died before he could be taken to a hospital. The truck driver was not cited and alcohol was not involved‚ police said. The truck vs. pedestrian accident is under investigation.
