Riverside County Car Accident Kills Elderly Couple

An elderly couple from Yucaipa, Clyde Arnett and Mildred Arnett, died in a Palm Springs car accident when a speeding car struck their sedan from behind as they were stopped along the shoulder of Highway 111.  The fatal auto accident happened early in the morning as the Arnetts were parked.  Their vehicle was struck from behind by a Victorville man driving a Mercedes.  Several witnesses observed the driver of the Mercedes driving erratically before the car crash.
