An unidentified pedestrian was struck and killed in a Mira Loma car wreck that occurred on September 12‚ 2011‚ around 3:06 a.m. at Country Village Road and Philadelphia Avenue near Highway 60 (US-60). According to Riverside County sheriff’s officials‚ the pedestrian was walking in the northbound lanes when he was struck by a vehicle travelling north.
The motorist failed to notice the pedestrian in time and fatally wounded him. The injured pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
