One person was killed and two others suffered serious injuries in a truck accident on June 15‚ 2011‚ around 12:03 a.m. on northbound 101 Freeway (US-101N) near Camarillo Springs Road. According to Ventura County Fire
Department Chief Chad Cooke‚ the big rig driver lost his brakes at the bottom of a steep grade and slammed into another truck‚ causing it to overturn and spill the asphalt it was carrying. One trucker was killed.
