An unidentified motorist suffered serious injuries in a truck wreck that occurred on August 24‚ 2011‚ around 7:30 a.m. on Interstate 805 (I-805) near Sweetwater Road. According to California Highway Patrol Officers‚ a silver color Toyota Avalon was trapped under the rear side of a semi-truck.
San Diego Fire-Rescue Department officers had to extricate the motorist from underneath the truck to save his life. The car driver suffered serious injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment.
