A mother and her son suffered serious injuries after their Toyota Camry was struck in a suspected DUI car collision that occurred on June 6‚ 2011‚ around 7:50 a.m. in Santa Ana. According to the Santa Ana Police Department‚ the driver of a gold Toyota truck struck the other car and flipped while traveling west on MacArthur Boulevard.
The female driver and her son were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the pickup was arrested under the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and running a red light on Greenville Street.
