An unidentified 21-year-old Marine was struck and killed in a tragic car accident that occurred on April 3‚ 2011 around 12:35 a.m. near Camp Pendleton in North San Diego County. According to California Highway Patrol Officers‚ the victim along with a fellow Marine were crossing the northbound onramp to Interstate 5 near Harbor Drive when he was struck by a 2009 Nissan Altima.
