Man Injured After San Diego Car Accident
Date: June 26, 2009Location: Interstate 5 (Golden State) Freeway near Sea World Drive, San Diego, California
Type: One-car accident
Outcome: One person injured
A San Diego man was injured when his car skidded off the I-5 freeway near Sea World and crashed into the Tecolote Creek riverbed. The vehicle came to rest in about two feet of water. The man was taken to the hospital for undisclosed injuries, while the California Highway Patrol cleared the accident from the highway.
