A 62-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run car crash that occurred on January 4, 2012, around 6:15 p.m. at Heacock Street and Kernwood Drive. According to Riverside County sheriff’s officials, the victim was crossing a street in Moreno Valley when she was struck by a northbound dark-colored mid-1990s Honda two-door car with a black hood.
