Four people suffered injuries in Desert Center rollover auto accident that occurred on August 21‚ 2011‚ around 11:49 p.m. along the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 (I-10) at Eagle Mountain Road. According to Riverside County Fire Department officials‚ one person suffered critical injuries in this single-vehicle crash and was immediately airlifted to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment.
The other injured victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released any details about the occurrence of the accident as of yet. There is a possibility that the loss of control may have been the result of a mechanical defect or design issue. It could also be the consequence of an uneven road surface.
