A 74-year-old Moreno Valley man suffered fatal injuries in a bicycle wreck that occurred on October 2‚ 2011‚ around 3:27 a.m. on the 13100 block of Heacock Street. According to the Riverside County police‚ the bicyclist was struck by a northbound Dodge Ram pickup.
The injured bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was immediately transported to Riverside County Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead about a half-hour later. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the deceased bicyclist.
