Clarisa Hernandez is a certified paralegal focusing on personal injury cases and assists Ross Jurewitz with all aspects of handling from working with insurance companies to settling cases prior to filing a lawsuit and taking care of all phases of litigation, including helping clients respond to discovery and negotiating liens.
Clarisa was born and raised in Houston, Texas and still misses Tex-Mex and barbeque. She graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown. She moved to California in 2003 and recently completed the paralegal program at the University of San Diego. While attending the Paralegal Program, Clarisa was awarded a San Diego Paralegal Association 2011 Scholarship.
Clarisa lives with her husband Brian in the San Carlos area of San Diego. She is also the best "evil stepmother" to 11-year-old step-son, Ian. Clarisa has four rescued pets, including two dogs and two cats. She enjoys watching movies with the family and crafting. Clarisa is a member of the San Diego Paralegal Association and serves on the leadership team for Mana de Diego Hermanitas Program.
