Bonny Garza is the lead personal injury litigation paralegal and Client Intake Manager at the Jurewitz Law Group. She works closely with clients on their files and is extremely knowledgeable about the various issues that affect injury accident victims, as well as the ways in which the Jurewitz Law Group can assist with medical care, property damage repair, and medical bills. Before joining the Jurewitz Law Group, Bonny worked for an insurance defense law firm representing defendants who had injured other people. This experience is invaluable for our law firm's personal injury clients because Bonny knows and can share how the insurance company and insurance defense lawyers view and attack their cases.
Bonny is a San Diego transplant, having been born and raised in Northwest Ohio near Toledo. She moved here from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan in 2001. Since moving here, she has attended FCC College for Fashion Design in Downtown San Diego and is currently completing her paralegal study courses at San Diego City College.
In her spare time, Bonny enjoys designing clothing and participating in many outdoor activities, such as hiking, camping, snorkeling, and mountain biking. She often travels to various camping destinations, such as the Grand Canyon, and is avid exercise enthusiast.
Bonny works alongside Ross Jurewitz and Stacey O’Neill in assisting many of the law firm’s injury accident clients, including assisting with pre-litigation handling of medical care and collection of evidence, drafting pleadings and motions in preparation for trial, and client outreach. She also assists Lee Jurewitz with the management of the office's Social Security Disability (SSD/SSI) clients.
